Job summary

Leumas is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department for our residential properties in Waterloo, IA. You will lead the maintenance team, plan schedules, manage projects, and ensure repairs and preventative maintenance are performed safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, HVAC and EPA certifications, and CAMT certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC and EPA certifications required.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate systems and facilities to determine maintenance needs and plan work.
• Oversee work orders including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Inspect units, troubleshoot HVAC and ventilation systems.
• Assist in budgeting, inventory, and scheduling of maintenance projects.
