Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Plainfield, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to keep manufacturing equipment running and safe. You will execute EH&S plans, train staff, and lead technicians while maintaining buildings and grounds.

The role requires 5–10 years of maintenance experience, the ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and to troubleshoot using a multi-meter. You must bring your own basic tools and be able to work overtime, weekends, and nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years maintenance or related industry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Must furnish own basic tools.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the readiness of the equipment and machines, plus all buildings and grounds concerns.
• Stock and store replacement and consumable machine parts.
• Assisting / performing Preventative Maintenance duties and troubleshooting, and repairs of breakdowns as needed.
• Assist other technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing plant concerns.
• Lead / coach / train maintenance department personnel when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems - both routine and complex using a defined method of troubleshooting to get to root cause.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Individual should have a mechanical aptitude.
• Must furnish their own basic set of tools and know how to properly operate and maintain tools to always keep them in safe working order.
• Ensure compliance with all LOTO procedures
