Qualifications
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Systems Programmer/DBA in a mainframe environment.
- At least three (3) years in a lead or senior technical role.
- Experience supporting enterprise legacy systems and mission-critical database environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support database upgrade, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance projects.
- Manage mainframe database environments including IMS, DB2, and ADABAS.
- Plan and execute upgrades and enhancements per standards and requirements.
- Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability across production environments.
- Provide technical consulting to development and operations teams.
- Develop designs for database structures, storage, replication, backup, and recovery.
- Maintain documentation of architecture, procedures, and configurations.
