An application made for this job — a tailored resume and cover letter that speak straight to the posting.
The Candidate will lead cross-functional teams delivering complex, data-intensive technical projects, as part of Mainframe Transformation initiative. The role will focus heavily on data migration, data ingestion into Snowflake, data transformations and business calculations, and integration between .NET applications and Snowflake using MuleSoft or Informatica APIs and integration services. The project environment includes Azure, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, Informatica and Snowflake.
The Candidate will deliver multiple projects on schedule and within budget by managing scope, resources, vendors, stakeholders, risks, and dependencies. The Candidate must have the technical acumen to coordinate application development, data engineering, integration, testing, and deployment teams throughout the SDLC. Azure DevOps will be used for Scrum delivery management and deployment pipelines. Development teams will use AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro or GitHub Copilot, with the Candidate coordinating their use within delivery, review, and testing processes. The Candidate must be able to interpret data-flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, API specifications, and SQL-based validation results, and discuss estimates and dependencies with technical leads
Project Management and Change Control: Lead end-to-end delivery of Mainframe Transformation, data migration, Snowflake, and Azure-based initiatives, including schedules, resource plans, and cross teams' coordination. Assess scope changes for schedule, cost, resource, and technical impacts; obtain approvals and maintain change and decision logs.
Data Migration: Coordinate data discovery, source-to-target mapping, ETL/ELT, and loading into Snowflake. Manage dependencies involving batch or near-real-time processing, schema changes, failed-load recovery, reconciliation, and migration cutover.
Calculations and Business Acceptance: Coordinate business calculation rules, transformation logic, and data acceptance criteria with business and technical teams. Manage UAT planning, approved expected results, reconciliation tolerances, defect resolution, and documented business-owner sign-off before release. Validate calculation accuracy and data completeness across source systems, .NET applications, and Snowflake.
Application and API Integration: Manage delivery of integrations between .NET applications and Snowflake using MuleSoft or Informatica APIs and integration services. Coordinate interface specifications, data mappings, dependencies, error handling, and end-to-end integration testing.
Azure DevOps and Scrum Delivery: Use Azure DevOps for epics, features, user stories, backlogs, sprint planning, defects, and dashboards. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coordinate sprint capacity and dependencies, and work with product owners and technical leads to prioritize delivery, technical debt, and reliability work.
Deployment Pipelines and Production Handover: Coordinate Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, testing, environment readiness, release approvals, and rollback plans. Facilitate production-readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions with designated approvers. Manage post-deployment validation, post-launch support, runbooks, monitoring readiness, and transition to support owners.
AI Assisted Development: Coordinate delivery by teams using tools such as Kiro or GitHub Copilot. Ensure use follows approved development practices and that generated code receives human review, testing, validation, and appropriate documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication among business stakeholders, data teams, .NET developers, integration specialists, DevOps teams, and leadership to align requirements, priorities, and delivery expectations.
Risk and Delivery Performance: Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across data, application, and integration workstreams; elevate unresolved issues to designated decision-makers. Define and track agreed measures such as reconciliation exceptions, calculation accuracy, data freshness, load completion, defect trends, and milestone predictability.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain project charters, plans, dashboards, executive status reports, decision logs, and release documentation. Coordinate technical documentation for data mappings, calculation rules, and integrations, and support RRC regulatory obligations in the oil, gas, and energy sector.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
