Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee. This role is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) professional who has a strong background in machine operation and leadership. You will oversee die cast machine operations and guide machine operators to ensure quality production of battery terminals and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise machine operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and performance expectations.
• Assist machine operators during breaks or as needed to maintain smooth production flow.
• Troubleshoot moderate machine issues; elevate complex problems as necessary.
• Conduct periodic quality control inspections to monitor product weight, dimensions, and appearance.
• Perform and document daily preventative maintenance, machine setup, and tooling changes.
• Review production records for accuracy, documenting any variances or issues.
• Provide training and guidance to new machine operators.
• Maintain effective communication with the production team to ensure smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with die cast or metal casting operations.
