Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Principal M&S Requirements Systems Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of MDA Modeling & Simulation SRDs.

You will manage DOORS NG databases for GT/FT SRDs and coordinate SCN updates and adjudication, reporting to senior leaders as needed. You will also establish and lead technical forums, translate real-world requirements into M&S requirements, and support GTFI and MBSE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with 20 years exp.
• Top-Secret security clearance (May consider Secret).
• Experience with IBM DOORS Next Generation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while reporting results as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of M&S SRDs for MDA.
• Develop and maintain DOORS NG database for GT/FT SRDs.
• Coordinate SCNs and SRD changes; lead adjudication of reviews.
• Create and maintain MSEWG channels, SOPs, and distribution lists.
• Brief SRD content to senior leaders within government and industry partners.
• Translate real-world requirements into M&S requirements.
• Support GTFI project via briefing packages and coordinating meetings.
• Lead verification efforts for SRD requirements and MBSE initiatives.
