Job summary

Qualifications

• LVN license in state of employment or compact.
• Current BLS certification.
• CERT required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the LVN team by identifying routine, urgent or emergency situations and coordinating referrals.
• Greet patients and maintain professional customer service; document demographic, insurance and financial information.
• Prepare patients for examinations, document history and vital signs.
• Expedite authorization requests and enter referral information into the system.
• Administer medications and observe for adverse reactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and equipment; order supplies.
• Lead Medical Assistants to improve patient flow and staffing as needed.
