Job summary

Longview-Hill-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation-Cente is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (Charge Nurse) to lead nightly and day-shift resident care in a skilled nursing setting in Longview, Texas. The LVN will assess residents, administer medications, document changes, and support care planning in collaboration with physicians and the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Has completed an LVN program at an accredited vocational school or college.
• Active Texas LVN license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assess resident condition during rounds and report changes.
• Ensure care plans are implemented as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Document physician visits and nursing assessments.
• Identify changes in resident condition and act per policies.
• Supervise aides and monitor care delivery.
• Complete incident/accident reports as required.
• Discharge residents per facility policy.
