Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with current standards and lead the day-to-day nursing operations under the direction of the Nursing Director.

Responsibilities include staffing planning, policy adherence, incident reporting, and maintaining comprehensive nursing documentation to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
  • Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing and stay in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities, and review department policies and procedures.
  • Complete accident/incident reports and maintain comprehensive nursing documentation.
  • Perform routine charting and ensure accurate nursing notes and documentation.
  • Make rounds to supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to nursing standards.
