Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead high-end custom homes from concept to installation. You will guide design development, create finish palettes, and manage client approvals while coordinating with architects, builders, and vendors.

The role requires 7+ years in luxury residential design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. This is an in-office, full-time position in Scottsdale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Significant experience with luxury residential or custom-home projects.
• Strong portfolio of sophisticated, high-end residential interiors.
• Experience managing projects from concept through construction and installation.
• Knowledge of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, lighting, fixtures, and detailing.
• Strong understanding of residential construction.
• Experience with architects, builders, contractors, and high-end clients.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead luxury residential interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop design concepts, floor plans, elevations, finish palettes, and presentations.
• Select flooring, stone, tile, cabinetry, millwork, hardware, plumbing fixtures, lighting, furnishings, artwork, and accessories.
• Lead client presentations and guide clients through design selections and approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, vendors, artisans, and trades.
• Manage multiple projects, design schedules, budgets, selections, and procurement timelines.
• Produce and review interior design drawings, elevations, and millwork details.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, samples, specifications, and submittals.
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction for design intent.
• Develop FF&E, custom furniture, lighting, artwork, and accessory selections.
• Oversee procurement, installation, final styling, punch lists, and closeout.
• Provide leadership to junior designers and project team members.
