Job summary

T5 WEST OPERATIONS LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Lead Lube Technician to perform basic automotive maintenance in a fast-paced, customer-focused shop near the Tucson Speedway. You will lead shop floor activities, communicate with customers, and assist the Shop Manager in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and retain detailed knowledge of oils and services.
• Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely.
• Capable of walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (hot/cold).
• Strong awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the public.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and grease chassis fittings.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
• Assist customers in selecting oil types and additional services.
• Provide excellent customer service both verbally and in writing.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
• Supervise shop floor operations, ensuring technicians are properly assigned and vehicles are serviced thoroughly.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform any and all other assigned duties

Key Responsibilities
