Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high-quality care and smooth unit operations.

The role requires strong clinical skills, leadership, and meticulous documentation. You will work on-site in a collaborative, team-based facility environment dedicated to resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort by demonstrating knowledge and skills of current nursing practices.
• Promptly respond to call lights and other resident needs.
• Make rounds with physicians, as necessary.
• Consult with the resident’s physician in providing care and treatment.
• Review care plans and treatment orders to ensure proper administration.
• Monitor CNAs to ensure adherence to care plans and resident status.
• Notify physicians of changes, accidents, or incidents.
• Administer professional nursing services as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect resident and facility records.
