Job summary

You will manage administrative tasks, charting, medication administration, and collaborate with physicians. The position is hourly with responsibilities across nursing service functions and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary and maintain the Daily Census Report per protocol.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify resident identity prior to treatment.
