Job summary

Mercy is seeking a lead LPN to provide patient care using the nursing process under physician or nurse practitioner supervision. The role refills medications, assists with treatments, and coordinates care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include clinic and phone-based patient care, with oversight by the practice manager. LPN licensure in the hiring state is required and must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• LPN licensure in the hiring state and maintenance of current license is required.
• Certifications may be required depending on position/unit and time frame.

Responsibilities

• Refill medications and assist with treatment under supervision.
• Provide patient care during clinic appointments and via phone follow-ups.
• Coordinate patient care, testing, and procedures with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
