Louisville East Post Acute, LLC in Kentucky is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide direct nursing care to residents during 6am–6pm weekdays and every other weekend. You will supervise nursing assistants and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high-quality care at all times.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Procedures Manual and facility policies.
• Chart nurses’ notes and maintain resident medical records.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate care with resident/family members.
