Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Charge Nurse - LPN to oversee the day-to-day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

The role includes administering medications, coordinating with physicians, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning to improve outcomes. Strong supervisory skills and EMR proficiency are preferred, along with Ohio LPN licensure.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered LPN license for Ohio.
• One year of clinical experience in hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Supervisory experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and coordinates resident care.
• Ensures nursing procedures are followed and quality standards maintained.
• Works with Unit Manager to reduce hospital readmissions and improve care.
