Job summary

Luck Grove is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician for a full-time remote office role supporting residential and commercial properties. You will install and maintain structured cabling, fiber and in-building networks with focus on managed Wi-Fi deployments and FTTU installations.

The role requires hands-on installation, testing with OTDRs and certifiers, collaboration with project teams, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing low-voltage cabling including fiber and Ethernet.
• Ability to install managed Wi‑Fi solutions in multi-unit properties.
• Familiarity with FTTU installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of VLANs, PoE and IP networking.
• Experience with DAS and structured cabling systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate low-voltage cabling including fiber, Cat5e/Cat6, and coax for networks.
• Deploy and configure access points, switches, routers, ONTs and patch panels.
• Establish fiber links, including splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Test and certify installed cabling using OTDRs and certifiers.
• Collaborate with project teams to plan routes and document work.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on in-building networks.
