Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Use handheld scanners to track material movements and rotate stock (FIFO).
  • Inspect forklift/tugger at shift start/end and report faults or hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS, OSHA, and information security guidelines.
  • Promote continuous improvement and Lean initiatives in daily work.

Description

As a Logistics Team Leader, you will be responsible for the proper movement of materials throughout the warehouse while ensuring efficiency and safety.

  • Ensure the inclusion of any obtained organizational knowledge into the QMS.
  • Know and comply with the policies and the guidelines of the Code of Ethics, the rules of occupational risk prevention and the rules of security and protection of information.
  • Comply with and ensure that the staff under their charge complies with the guidelines of the Code of Ethics, the rules of occupational risk prevention and the rules of security and protection of information.
  • Report any conduct that they consider may pose a risk to quality, production, information security and to the security of personal data.
  • Encourage collaboration for the optimization and improvement of processes.
  • Encourage and promote improvement and innovation in its field of action.
  • Participate in the continuous process (5 S, Shop Floor Management) improvement.
  • Perform the tasks assigned in quality and in time.
  • Order and cleanliness of their position and its environment
  • Respect "quality and environment" procedures and the rules of health and safety
  • Unload and load material onto racks, tractor trailers and other marked warehouse locations.
  • Identify damaged material.
  • Report shortages of material/components.
  • Report quality issues.
  • Transport components/materials to production workstations
  • Inspect forklift/tugger at beginning and end of shift.
  • Report any faulty equipment, damage to racks, or other potential safety hazards.
  • Determine the need for repairs for forklift, tugger, machinery, racks, or other related equipment.
  • Use handheld scanner to track all material/component movements.
  • Rotate stock so oldest products are first picked (FIFO).
  • Be alert of other employees in the work zone.
  • Use radio frequency equipment as needed for picking, put-away, receiving, and load functions.

  • Report any conduct that they consider may pose a risk to information security and, in particular, to the security of personal data.
  • Know and understand the group's environmental objectives.
  • Know and understand the group's policy and principals in terms of MA management.
  • Know and understand the most significant enviromental aspects of the work center.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 Years’ experience manufacturing, automotive industry preferred.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • High tolerance towards working under pressure.
  • Personal judgment and independency to take actions.
  • High motivation to confront challenges and changes.
  • Conditioned independency (following process rules, norms, and company policy).
  • Oral and written ability to understand instructions.
  • Must be able to distinguish red/green/blue colors.
  • Must complete and receive passing scores for all FLO/Tugger training.
  • Logical-analytical thinking: Ability to make decisions that could affect the company.
  • Become aware of the Sese Quality Program.
  • HSE Knowledge.
  • Logistic and supply chain knowledge (Lean Manufacturing, Continuous improvement).
  • Must wear safety gear and PPE when on production floor.
  • Order and cleanliness of their area and its environment
  • Able to stand/and or sit for 10+ hours per day.
  • Must be able to walk the production floor with the Plant Manager as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
