Job summary

Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a Logistics and Transportation Manager for the CS Power Systems division. The role focuses on overseeing logistics for utility-scale projects from our Walnut Creek, CA and Mesquite, TX locations with onsite presence.

You will partner with planning, manufacturing and logistics teams to optimize delivery plans, supplier relationships, and cost control while meeting customer expectations. Travel is required to support multiple sites and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics or warehousing.
  • Minimum 5+ years in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills; experience with SAP and ERP systems.
  • Proven leadership and project management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 10–15% and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee logistics for large utility-scale projects to meet timelines and control costs.
  • Coordinate with planning and manufacturing for shipment plans and risks.
  • Communicate with facilities for material allocations and daily ops.
  • Develop and maintain carrier dashboards and project updates for stakeholders.
  • Attend client calls, present service metrics, and drive KPI improvements.
  • Review contracts and support finance on transportation cost data.
  • Support audits and leverage tech to scale delivery operations.
