Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Logistics Associate Lead Driver to support AM truck dispatch, training, and delivery execution for licensed accounts.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B license, a high school diploma, and at least one year of driving/delivery experience. You will ensure timely deliveries, accurate check-in, DOT compliance, and safe vehicle operation while maintaining records and supporting the driver team.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver license (CDL) required (A or B).
• Minimum 1 year of driving/delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to train and mentor delivery staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training of new delivery drivers and provide guidance.
• Support morning driver dispatch and issue resolution for delays.
• Deliver products to licensed retailers and ensure accurate invoicing/check-in.
• Maintain DOT logbooks and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety courses as required.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and communicate with management.
