MatchPoint Solutions is a fast-growing IT and engineering services firm delivering technology solutions to leading enterprises. They are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Hardware and Systems Engineer to work on-site in Jersey City or Houston for a 12‑month contract, at a pay rate of 70–80 USD/hr.
The role emphasizes hands-on Linux driver work, in-memory OS environments, and close collaboration with OEM/ODM/JDM partners, plus scripting and strong hardware expertise for internal cloud
Competenze
- 5+ years building hardware products with mechanical or electrical background.
- Experience with OEM/ODM/JDM partners across design, build, and delivery.
- Rack environments with power and cooling in datacenters.
- Familiarity with Open Compute, PCIe, Redfish, and OpenBMC standards.
- Hands-on Linux (Red Hat) with Python or Bash scripting.
- Experience applying AI tools to infrastructure work.

- Translate requirements into end-to-end system designs and retire legacy platforms.
- Engage with OEM/ODM/JDM partners; define milestones and delivery expectations.
- Bridge hardware and software requirements; address PCIe topology and cooling needs.
