Mountain Capital Partners is seeking a skilled Lift Maintenance Technician for Nordic Valley Resort in Eden, UT to repair and maintain chair lifts and surface conveyors. The role ensures safety and compliance with ANSI B77 and company policies.

The job requires inspecting, diagnosing, and replacing components, climbing towers, and leading lift projects in all weather conditions. Full-time, year-round with outdoor work and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years lift maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical or electrical experience and/or training is expected.
• Experience with tower line work and lift system components is preferred.
• Knowledge of welding and torching is a plus.
• Fall protection and climbing safety familiarity is essential.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations to ensure lifts run efficiently.
• Know lift locations, control operation, and evacuation procedures.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections for safe operation.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on lifts.
• Climb lift towers to inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair components.
• Repair or replace lift components on-site or in shop.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair lift systems.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Mentor level1 and helper technicians.
• Lead summer lift-based projects.
