Job summary

Boca West Country Club is seeking a Lead Lifeguard to oversee the aquatic safety team and ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for members and guests at the Boca West pool facilities.

The role requires supervising lifeguards, enforcing safety rules, handling emergencies with first aid, and maintaining pool area cleanliness and organization. Experience in high-traffic or luxury resort settings is preferred, along with current lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous lifeguarding experience in luxury or resort settings preferred.
• Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, Ellis & Associates) required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily lifeguard activities.
• Enforce pool rules and ensure patron safety.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt first aid and rescue.
• Train and mentor new lifeguards.
• Maintain incident records and safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
