Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling staff, maintaining logs, providing information to swimmers, and enforcing rules. You may assist in coaching swimming programs, issue towels, verify identifications, and ensure the area remains clean and hazard-free.

Qualifications

• Requires American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification (CPR-Pro) or equivalent.
• AED certification or equivalent (Ellis & Associates AED) is required.
• Ability to obtain Oxygen Administration certification within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pool operation and oversee lifeguards; monitor facility safety policies.
• Rescue swimmers and administer first aid as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and records; ensure towels and IDs are checked.
• Cooperate in aquatic and water survival training according to ATP 7-22.01.
• Coaching or support for competitive and non-competitive swimming programs as needed.
