Job summary

Army NAF is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard for our on-base pool to supervise lifeguards and enforce safety policies. You will assist in coaching both competitive and non-competitive swimming programs and help with staff scheduling and pool operations, including filtration and water quality testing.

The role requires lifeguard, CPR-Pro, and AED certifications, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work varied hours. On-site appointments, with standard federal employment benefits.

Qualifications

• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent.
• CPR-Pro certification or equivalent.
• AED certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of the pool and supervise lifeguards; monitor compliance with facility policies.
• Guard guests at the aquatic facility and support coaching for competitive and non-competitive swimming programs as needed.
• Assist with scheduling of employees and maintain pool filtration, water balance, and chemistry; perform water tests.
• Warn patrons about safety rule violations and enforce SOPs; provide information on safety procedures.
• Rescue swimmers and administer first aid; safeguard funds, property and personnel as required.
