The Seattle YMCA is seeking a proactive Program Coordinator at Arlington Drive to develop engaging programming for young adults, lead outreach, and foster community partnerships. You will coordinate activities, support staff, and connect residents to real-world learning experiences while guiding program growth and outcomes.

In this role you’ll train staff, maintain participant documentation, and collaborate across teams to ensure service quality, equity, and effective resource use in Pierce

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, psychology, sociology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience working with teens or young adults in foster care, housing, education, or homelessness fields.
• Ability to teach independence skills and plan supportive activities.
• Experience leading and presenting training sessions, online or in person.
• Strong youth engagement and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and facilitate activities and events with YMCA staff and community partners.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to Arlington Case Managers; monitor participation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Program Director(s) to advance the Arlington Program.
• Develop new program activities and expand community opportunities.
• Lead weekly team meetings with Tacoma Housing Authority and YMCA staff.
• Support participants in education, employment, housing, and life skills goals.
• Build strong relationships with program participants to deliver quality services.
• Identify strategic opportunities to grow housing and homelessness services in Pierce County.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and contract compliance.
• Maintain documentation in designated databases.
