Job summary

Framatome in the United States is seeking a Lead Level III Eddy Current Analyst to inspect, repair, and overhaul intricate equipment while upholding strict industrial and radiation safety standards. You will analyze breakdowns, plan schedules, and manage in‑service inspection programs across diverse sites.

The role requires extensive NDE qualifications (LVL II/III in multiple disciplines) plus leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 16 years of related experience and NDE Technician IV Sr requisites.
• NDE Technician IV Sr requisites include LVL I in at least 1 discipline and LVL II in 3 disciplines; leadership requirements to be met.
• Expert knowledge of equipment, practices and concepts in the field.
• Typically requires nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification.
• Knowledge of safety policies and programs for specific roles.
• Good communication skills to convey technical data with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs and rebuilds mechanical and/or electrical equipment and structures.
• Ensures industrial and radiation safety requirements are followed.
• Analyzes equipment breakdowns and directs corrective actions.
• Plans work schedules and assigns priorities when required.
• Develops and maintains in-service inspection, testing and maintenance programs.
• Supports nondestructive examination (NDE) and QC inspections.
• Researches and explains inspection results.
• Maintains customer-obligation documentation and test methodologies.
• Complies with safety and health rules including dose compliance.
• Works flexible hours and may travel to regional/remote sites.
• May require unescorted nuclear site access.
• Pursues certification: LVL II/III NDE and leadership requirements.
