As Lead Legal Engineer, you’ll operate as a player-coach: leading Legora’s most complex and high-impact client engagements while managing and developing a team of Legal Engineers. You’ll combine deep legal knowledge, product expertise, and people leadership to drive adoption, accelerate time-to-value, and deliver measurable outcomes across your clients and your team.
Leading enterprise-level pilots and implementations across multiple stakeholders and products, from discovery through go-live, with clear success metrics.
Owning priority client use cases end-to-end, shaping scalable onboarding and implementation frameworks.
Acting as a senior thought partner to clients, building trusted relationships with partners, legal ops, and innovation leaders.
Delivering executive-level demos, workshops, and presentations, clearly articulating value and handling complex objections.
Influencing internal teams (Product, Go-to-Market, Customer Success) on implementation strategy, setup, and handover.
Representing the voice of the customer, surfacing product gaps with evidence and driving them through to resolution.
Building and refining team processes, systems, and operating rhythms that scale delivery quality and team effectiveness as the Legal Engineering function grows.
Providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development support to drive individual and team growth.
Managing and developing a team of Legal Engineers, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance standards.
Leading hiring efforts for the Legal Engineering team, helping to attract and onboard top talent.
You\’ve built your career at the intersection of law, technology, delivery, and people leadership, and are comfortable owning complex work, leading senior conversations, and navigating ambiguity.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have a background in law, with experience at a top-tier firm, in-house legal team, or legal tech environment.
Have direct people management experience, including hiring, developing, and performance-managing a team in a client-facing or delivery environment.
Bring senior experience delivering complex client implementations or programmes with multiple stakeholders.
Are product-savvy and tech-curious, with a strong grasp of generative AI and legal workflows.
Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excel at stakeholder and programme management, influencing priorities and navigating high-stakes conversations.
Bring experience in legal tech or a technology-driven environment — a strong plus, though not required.
Bring structure to complexity, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and focus on outcomes over perfection.
