Job summary

Great Oaks is seeking a motivated crew lead to manage lawn maintenance teams in Michigan. You will cut grass, trim edges, and perform landscaping tasks, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience with landscape equipment, a valid driver’s license, and good communication with customers. This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities and potential growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of landscape, construction, or grounds maintenance experience.
• Valid Chauffeur's License and Medical Certification required.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and equipment for lawn tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead lawn maintenance crews.
• Cut grass, trim edges, blow debris, weeding, landscaping.
• Operate landscape power equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, saws).
• Assist with loading/unloading and daily truck/trailer inspections.
• Follow company policies and health and safety laws.
• Communicate with customers politely.
