Job summary

Greencroft Communities is seeking a Laundry & Housekeeping Attendant to join our Walnut Hills Campus in Walnut Creek, CA. This full-time position oversees daily housekeeping and laundry operations to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and team members.

You will perform laundry tasks, clean resident spaces, follow infection-prevention guidelines, and support scheduling with basic office duties.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping and/or laundry experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (scheduling, ordering, Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other campus spaces using established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Perform daily laundry duties, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and distributing resident clothing and linens.
• Maintain housekeeping and laundry equipment, carts, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of waste and soiled materials.
• Monitor supply levels and report equipment issues, safety concerns, accidents, or maintenance needs.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and preferences while providing courteous, high-quality service.
• Support the team by participating in training, communicating with other departments, and assisting during emergency situations as needed.
