Job summary

Callaway Gardens Resort, Inc. in Pine Mountain, Georgia is seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to maintain our grounds, beds, and turf. You will work with irrigation, plant care, and seasonal planting to ensure a safe, clean, and aesthetically appealing landscape for guests.

This role requires hands-on skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a teamwork mindset. The successful candidate will also train others in horticultural techniques and help enforce safety standards.

Qualifications

• Training or experience in Horticulture/Landscaping required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete WPS training within 5 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Understand horticultural practices including plant ID, soil fertility, irrigation, pest and disease control.
• Maintain bedding plants, woody ornamentals, turf, interior foliage, and parking areas.
• Operate grounds equipment and train staff in safe use.
• Maintain irrigation systems and pesticide application logs.
• Lead day-to-day operations to maximize safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Keep records and manage tool inventories.
• Supervise volunteers and coordinate tasks with management.
