Job summary

POLY PRINT INC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Lamination Machine Operator to lead the Lamination Department, set up and operate all lamination equipment, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production. You will work closely with the Converting Manager to schedule work, train operators, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or manufacturing training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years laminator operation experience in flexible packaging preferred.
• Hands-on Nordmeccanica Lamination Machine experience is a plus.
• Leadership or lead operator experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Thorough knowledge of laminating equipment, adhesives, films, and production processes.
• Ability to read and interpret production work orders and documentation.
• Commitment to workplace safety, food safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Lamination Department operations to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate workflow and assign daily responsibilities to laminator operators.
• Monitor production efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Assist Converting Manager in meeting department goals and priorities.
• Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and staffing needs promptly.
• Promote teamwork, accountability and a positive work environment.
