Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily operations of research animal facilities, ensure proper husbandry and cage wash procedures, and maintain compliance with university, departmental, and governmental regulations.

You will manage staff schedules, supervise husbandry personnel, assist in hiring, maintain records, order supplies, and monitor cages and equipment, while identifying health or behavioral issues and reporting them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• AALAS LAT certification required.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a research lab setting working with lab animals
