Job summary

Piedmont is seeking a Lead Lab Assistant for the Columbus, Georgia location. This role covers oversight of phlebotomy and specimen processing services, acting as the technical expert in phlebotomy and specimen collection.

The position requires coordinating phlebotomy and lab assistant activities to ensure timely, safe, efficient specimen collection and processing according to established protocols. Qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience; CPT

Qualifications

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience and/or lab processor or lab assistant Required
• Experience working in a hospital Preferred
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Preferred
