Job summary

Built for the Badge in Florence, AZ is seeking a dedicated Juvenile Detention Center Monitor to ensure a safe and constructive environment for youths navigating court processing and return to the community.

The role focuses on monitoring, maintaining order, and supporting day-to-day shift operations to promote safety, structure, and positive outcomes for youths in care.

Candidates must be at least 21, have a HS diploma or GED, and be willing to undergo a thorough background check to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of experience monitoring, mentoring and providing direct services to juveniles in relevant settings; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Background investigation required.

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum 21 years of age at time of hire; AND
• High school diploma or equivalent GED; AND
• Three (3) years of experience monitoring, mentoring and providing direct services to juveniles in a juvenile detention center, group care facility, criminal justice or educational environment; OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
• Required to successfully complete a thorough background investigation.
