Qualifications

• Journeyman plumber license or certification required.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and jobsite safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (water, waste, vent, storm, gas).
• Install fixtures such as toilets, sinks, faucets, water heaters, pumps.
• Cut, thread, groove, solder, braze, or solvent‑weld pipe and fittings.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper operation.
• Read blueprints, specifications, plumbing schematics, and details; perform layout for piping runs and penetrations.
• Verify measurements, elevations, and slopes for proper drainage and flow.
• Identify conflicts and report discrepancies to supervision.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment; keep work areas safe and clean.
• Follow safety policies and work with foremen and trades.
