Job summary

Royal Electric Company is seeking a Certified Journeyman Electrician for our multifamily residential and commercial projects in Dallas, TX. The role emphasizes leadership, training of apprentices, and hands-on installation, repair, and testing of electrical systems across diverse settings.

You will delegate tasks, ensure safety, and maintain high workmanship standards while collaborating with foremen and crews on-site.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Texas Journeyman Certification.
• Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems.
• Ability to read sketches and diagrams.
• Strong leadership and training for apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Take lead to delegate tasks & train craftworkers, ensuring effective communication regarding work plans and smooth operations.
• Demonstrate initiative, supporting team success and safety.
• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
• Utilize hand and power tools to measure, cut, bend, thread, and install wire and cable systems, conduits, and raceways.
• Feed, pull, and terminate wires within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, and switches.
• Troubleshoot issues and prepare sketches and schematic diagrams. Take ownership and anticipate needs.
• Maintain high workmanship standards, ensuring quality and efficiency; effort and initiative directly reflect in project and personal success.
