Job summary

CoreTek Labs is seeking a senior enterprise software engineer in Seattle to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and AWS. You will build microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures with Kafka, and partner with frontend teams for UI integration.

The role requires deep experience in cloud-native development, strong database design skills, and hands-on Kubernetes deployments.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java and enterprise application development.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Kafka / AWS MSK for event-driven architecture and messaging.
• Strong understanding of AWS EKS / Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with ReactJS or other UI technologies.
• If no hands-on UI development experience, strong UI integration experience and ability to work with frontend teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
