Job summary

V Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Java EE developer to join our enterprise team in New York. The role focuses on building and enhancing a large-scale Java web application and integrating with existing systems, including SSO and messaging infrastructure.

You will participate in all SDLC phases, mentor peers, and support release management while working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in building complex Java EE/enterprise web applications.
• Experience across requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Proven ability to define unit and system testing standards and evaluate results.
• Experience releasing n-tier JEE applications with mature processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and group presentation experience.
• Experience analyzing business processes and working with non-technical staff.
• Advisory experience to IT management on web app architecture and upgrades.
• Experience with EJBs, transaction management, and legacy system integration.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings and provide status updates to the PM.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for task tracking and collaboration.
• Contribute to the development of the described enhancements.
• Perform unit, regression, and UAT testing tasks.
