Heitmeyer Consulting is currently looking for a Lead Java Developer. Experience in application development who is fluent with modern version of Java and has used it in wide backend applications. Hands‑on lead developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and modern software engineering practices. Experience with enterprise integration, event‑driven architectures, Kafka, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Strong experience in Spring Framework, Web services (REST/SOAP), Spring Boot / Micro Services with Angular. responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise APIs, microservices, integration solutions, and cloud‑native applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and reusable application services that integrate data and functionality across enterprise systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring MVC, J2EE, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience in Swagger, Maven, Eclipse, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/Newman.
• Experience with cloud technologies, AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven and related DevOps tools.
• Experience working with technology teams to deliver business and technical solutions leveraging your skills with Java, Rest API, Fuse, Kafka and JSON
• Experience and proven understanding of DevOps, continuous integration, container‑based applications, cloud deployment architectures.
• Need someone who can act as a lead and guide this team technically. Make architectural decisions and mentor
• Any Mainframe experience would be nice to have.
