Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Lead Cleaner in Smyrna, TN to oversee daily cleaning across our facilities.

You’ll supervise a small team, coordinate tasks, promote safety, and ensure a welcoming, high-quality environment for clients and occupants. The ideal candidate has prior lead or supervisory experience, at least one year in janitorial work, strong communication and team leadership skills, and is comfortable using a radio and iPhone for work orders.

Qualifications

• Previous lead or supervisory experience.
• At least 1 year of janitorial or related experience.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Experience managing cleaning crews and overseeing workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily cleaning tasks across facilities.
• Coordinate and support your team; promote safety and hygiene standards.
• Train staff and provide supervision in the supervisor’s absence.
• Respond to spills, restrooms issues, and special cleaning requests.
• Inspect work areas to ensure quality standards are met.
• Restock carts and monitor inventory levels; attend to client requests.
