Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Order Management Consultant to configure, implement, and optimize the Order Management module across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and BRIM. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions and guide workshops, ensuring successful project delivery.

You will report to the Sr. Director, IT and work on a Hybrid schedule from Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA, with initial 90 days onsite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as an SAP consultant specializing in Order Management with focus on SAP S/4HANA and BRIM(SOM, CI).
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Order Management module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA implementations, including full lifecycle projects and system conversions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to translate complex processes into SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interactions.

• Requirements gathering with business stakeholders to understand order management processes and requirements.
• Design SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BRIM solutions aligning with best practices and business needs.
• Configure and customize SAP Order Management including pricing, availability, orders, delivery, and billing.
• Coordinate with integration teams for seamless SAP module integration (MM/FI/WM) and external systems.
• Develop functional specs, EDI mapping docs, and data conversion rules; implement EDI within SAP SD.
• Create and execute test scripts to validate configurations meet requirements.
• Provide end-user training and create configuration guides and manuals.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Order Management solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements leveraging SAP S/4HANA features.

Job description

As an SAP Order Management Consultant specializing in SAP ERP, you will be responsible for providing expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the Order Management module within SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and SAP BRIM. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the SAP ecosystem. Your role will involve working with the business, understanding their problem areas, proactive assessment of best practices in terms of process and technology, configuring and customizing SAP systems, conducting workshops, providing guidance, and ensuring successful delivery of projects.

We are seeking a proactive individual who is eager to exceed expectations and take on challenges beyond their designated responsibilities

You will report directly to our Sr. Director, IT and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their order management processes, challenges, and requirements.

• Solution Design: Design SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP BRIM solutions for order management processes, considering industry best practices and business needs.

• Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP Order Management module according to business requirements, including pricing, availability, order types, delivery, and billing.

• Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP Order Management and other SAP modules (such as Sales, Logistics, Finance) and external systems. Experience with SAP integrations, including IDocs, APIs, and other relevant technologies.

• EDI Proficiency: Creating functional specifications, EDI mapping documents, and data conversion rules. Designing, developing, and implementing EDI solutions for sales and distribution processes. Configure and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within SAP Sales & Distribution for seamless business document exchange.

• Testing: Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the configured solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.

• Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users on new processes and functionalities. Create documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.

• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Order Management solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancements.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP Order Management, leveraging new features and functionalities of SAP S/4 HANA.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

YOU MUST HAVE
