Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC in Colorado is seeking a Senior Irrigation Technician to service high-end residential landscapes. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and monitor large-scale irrigation systems, while mentoring junior technicians and serving as the go-to expert for complex issues.

Responsibilities include activating and winterizing systems, conducting checks, creating repair proposals, managing water usage, and maintaining VIP client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years troubleshooting and repair in residential or commercial irrigation.
• Experience with computerized, centralized, or smart-controller irrigation systems.
• Experience training or supervising other irrigation technicians.
• Residential irrigation assembly and installation experience.
• Extensive field experience in the landscape industry.
• Strong client-facing communication for high-end residential accounts.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Certified Irrigation Technician.
• Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Activate and winterize client irrigation systems, including complex, large-scale, and centralized systems.
• Perform property/system checks and quality-control inspections.
• Serve as the primary escalation point to diagnose complex components.
• Create and sell repair/upgrade proposals for irrigation systems.
• Dig up, repair, and install irrigation components.
• Manage water usage and programming for controllers, including smart platforms.
• Balance water demands with environmental stewardship.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior irrigation technicians.
• Assist management with scheduling and process improvement.
• Maintain relationships with VIP clients on high-value properties.
