Job summary

AT&T Global Security in Dallas, Texas seeks a Lead Investigator to protect customers, employees, critical assets, and vendor partners worldwide. You will lead real-time responses to incidents and conduct internal and external investigations, coordinating with law enforcement and business units to mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead real-time responses to evolving incidents and conduct internal and external investigations of critical events, both domestic and international.
  • Collaborate with business unit teams to direct investigative actions, develop policies, implement logical and physical security measures, and conduct risk and strategic analysis to protect assets and identify threats.
  • Collaborate internally with supply chain teams, externally with vendors and law enforcement to prevent, detect, investigate, and implement corrective measures for theft.
  • Perform hands-on in-depth digital forensics and analytics, critical infrastructure vulnerability assessments, business continuity planning, intelligence gathering, and international traveler security support.
  • Act as the primary liaison between AT&T and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Test and recommend security products and systems, as well as supporting various business unit initiatives.
  • Identify, investigate, and mitigate organized retail crime, including gathering intelligence, building cases, and collaborating with law enforcement and internal teams.
  • Manage multiple diverse case assignments, including direct interfacing with external customers, conducting interviews with subjects, witnesses, and victims, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies on investigations.
  • Assist executive protection team with protection of personnel, managing logistics, advance operations, special events and securing transportation as needed.
  • Respond 24/7 to incidents, including physical and virtual immediate response to events, and traveling within a geographic area as required.

AT&T Global Security is looking for a highly skilled Lead Investigator to protect the interests of customers, employees, critical infrastructure, and vendor partners from emerging threats. This role supports the company’s Global Security Investigations efforts by collaborating with all levels of management, non-management, and senior leadership to develop solutions that safeguard the corporation’s interests and reduce liabilities. They will mitigate risks involving cybercrimes, fraud schemes, insider threats, accounting matters, sales integrity violations, privacy breaches, social engineering, workplace violence, criminal activities, and violations of policies and the Code of Business Conduct.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
  • Develop investigative plans, gather and evaluate facts, conduct investigative interviews, and write investigative reports that are used by Legal, Labor Relations, Human Resources and other business units to make disciplinary decisions and/or are used by law enforcement to support criminal investigation and prosecution.
  • Identify risk mitigation strategies for physical and logical security measures and present recommendations to business unit partners for implementation.
  • Providing testimony in court, civil, and arbitration proceedings, or serving as an expert witness to deliver reports or information in legal environments, including federal, state, county, local, and international proceedings.
  • Handl highly confidential information, potentially requiring government‑issued security clearance.
