Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: CRT
• Required Qualifications: Fluoro
• Required Qualifications: BLS from the American Heart Association
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology
• Required Qualifications: Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Required Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills
• Preferred Qualifications: ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography
• Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience strongly preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of patient focused care delivery

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
• Monitor that appropriate equipment is available for procedures
• Train staff and maintain competency level of 2-3 techs
• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
• Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the Interventional Radiology department.
• Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are maintained at all times.
• Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in IR department
