Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Lead Interventional Radiologic Technologist to oversee daily modality operations and provide leadership within the imaging team. The role emphasizes high-level patient care and supervisory duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining accreditation standards, advancing imaging services with new technology, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. BLS certification and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• BLS certified.
• Leadership experience and regulatory knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and supervises daily imaging modality operations and provides leadership for the assigned area.
• Role comprises 70% patient care and 30% supervisory functions.
• Keeps accreditations standards current and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Operates interventional equipment and related devices; stays updated on technology and equipment changes.
