Northside Hospital seeks an accomplished Interventional Pulmonologist to serve as Program Leader for Interventional Pulmonology, shaping vision, growth, and clinical excellence across the Georgia health system.

The ideal candidate will bring expert clinical skill in advanced bronchoscopy, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to expanding access to innovative pulmonary care. The role emphasizes strategic planning, standardization of care, and mentorship of future physician leaders.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care with fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology.
• Experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy.
• Demonstrated leadership and program development capabilities.
• Track record of clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-wide leadership for Interventional Pulmonology physicians and services.
• Develop and implement a unified strategic plan for Interventional Pulmonology across Northside.
• Standardize clinical pathways, quality measures, and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
• Evaluate and optimize locations, technology, staffing, and infrastructure for growth.
• Partner with Thoracic Surgery to strengthen referrals and multidisciplinary pathways.
• Lead adoption of advanced technologies such as robotic bronchoscopy and bronchoscopic valve therapies.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop future Interventional Pulmonology physicians.
• Collaborate with Oncology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Thoracic Surgery and leadership to advance multidisciplinary care.
