Job summary

Slate is seeking an energetic Supplier Quality Manager, Interior Commodity, to lead supplier quality across Slate’s interior supply base. You will drive PPAP, dimensional and appearance compliance, and manage corrective actions for underperforming suppliers.

You will lead a team of SQEs, coordinate readiness reviews, and work with Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing to meet launch objectives. Ideal candidates have an Engineering degree or equivalent, 10+ years in supplier quality, and

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or equiv. or previous working level experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage PPAP submissions and approval status across interior commodity supply base.
• Drive dimensional, appearance, and functional compliance; execute containment and corrective actions for underperforming suppliers.
• Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers aligned to interior commodities; provide direction and development support through launch to production.
• Coordinate readiness reviews and milestone gate activities with Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure interior components meet quality standards.
