The Lead Integration Engineer is a hands‑on engineering role responsible for designing and building system‑to‑system integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and vendor platform connectivity solutions. The role focuses on API strategy, microservice architecture, middleware patterns, data integration, and scalable service design that support Wealth and Asset Management and portfolio management, e.g. Addepar, client platforms, advisory tools, financial operations, and reporting workflows. The Lead Integration Engineer partners with business, technology, data, security, compliance, and vendor teams to translate firm strategy into system designs, integration specifications, implementation plans and production solutions. This role will provide engineering leadership for integrations involving Canoe, Snowflake, Addepar, portfolio and client reporting platforms and related enterprise services. The position requires strong experience in highly regulated financial services environments, practical knowledge of asset management operating models, and the ability to design secure, resilient, observable, and maintainable platforms that support business transformation, automation, analytics, and operational efficiency. This role is expected to own both technical design and hands‑on implementation. Successful candidates should enjoy solving engineering problems and contributing directly to production solutions.
Design, develop, test, and deploy integration patterns for Canoe, Snowflake, Addepar, portfolio management platforms, client advisory tools, reporting platforms, accounting and finance systems, and external vendor ecosystems. Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, engineers, data teams, security, infrastructure, and vendors to translate business strategy into practical technology delivery roadmaps. Establish technical standards for API design, service decomposition, data contracts, authentication, authorization, monitoring, logging, resiliency, and lifecycle management. Lead an engineering workstream through system design, enhancements, integration delivery, testing, release planning, and production support transition. Support and enhance systems in a highly regulated financial environment, including controls for data quality, privacy, security, auditability, and operational resilience. Provide technical leadership for integrations that automate alternative investment document collection, data extraction, data normalization, downstream reporting, and operational workflows. Advance Snowflake‑centered data integration patterns, including secure data ingestion, transformation, sharing, consumption, governance, and integration with analytics and reporting platforms. Lead technical design reviews, technical risk assessments, vendor design reviews, proof‑of‑concept evaluations, implementation sequencing, and change‑management activities. Ensure compliance with applicable financial, operational, data, security, and regulatory standards, including SOX, AML/KYC, SEC/FINRA expectations where relevant to platform scope.
API strategy, middleware integrations, microservices, and event‑driven architecture. Canoe platform integrations and alternative investment data automation. Addepar platform integrations. Snowflake and modern cloud data platform architecture; Addepar Data Exchange (ADX) experience is a plus. Cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS. Secure software architecture, identity and access management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and operational resilience. System security, audit, and financial regulatory compliance, including SOX, AML/KYC, SEC/FINRA, and related financial services controls. Wealth and asset management workflows, including portfolio management, investment operations, client reporting, advisory processes, and financial planning. Portfolio analytics, performance reporting, financial reporting, and data governance. Vendor platform integration, technical due diligence, solution evaluation, and implementation planning. Agile delivery, architecture governance, documentation, technical mentorship, and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement.
