• Certification from the Colorado Child Welfare Academy.
• Three years of post-graduation professional social case work experience at the Social Case Worker level.
• Equivalency: no substitution of experience for education is permitted; additional education may substitute for experience.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License at the time of application; licenses must be kept current.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a training and development plan for workers at all levels to encourage growth and excellence.
• Create and implement a system to manage workload at high volume and fast pace.
• Obtain and maintain supervisory certification and train Social Case Worker staff.
• Demonstrate supervisory leadership in the absence of Supervisors and assist in intake assessments and youth cases.
• Attend family team meetings and court hearings with Social Case Workers when needed.
